Keeping local business alive…

Local business continues to thrive with a new form of cottage industry arising in Coorparoo.  Owners Chris and Leah couldn’t take the fast pace and lack of lifestyle that Sydney offered and were lured by the benefits of living in Brisbane.  They opted for a move only a few weeks ago and have taken up residence just off Chatsworth Road, Coorparoo.

The business that they run from home is ozshortstay.com.au. It is Australia’s largest on-line bed and breakfast internet website. “Since its inception in November last year, the website has grown at an astronomical rate,” says Chris.  The site now has over 750 registered bed and breakfast members and is attracting record numbers of visitors who are searching for weekend accommodation.

“When Leah and I were searching on the Net last year to find B&B accommodation in Byron Bay, we found it quite difficult.  After some hours, we came across many inconsistent sites that really didn’t present the information in a format that was concise and easy to read”.

“We thought it would be a great idea if there was one, quick, user-friendly site that provided the key information without clicking through so much irrelevant information.  Anyway, that frustration turned into an idea and here we are, running our Bed and Breakfast directory website in Coorparoo.”

ozshortstay.com.au has accommodation for every taste and budget.  With Mother’s Day just around the corner, now is a perfect time to jump on the Net and click away. You will find the site very user-friendly, with a simple, clear and consistent layout.  All you need to do is pack!
